Aykut Öz 1970 / Ankara’da yaşıyor ve çalışıyor.

1995 yılında Hacettepe Üniversitesi, Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi, Heykel Bölümü’nde öğrenimini tamamladıktan sonra 2010 yılında yüksek lisans eğitimini tamamladı. Sahne dekorasyonu, stop-motion canlandırma, resim ve heykelle ilgili çeşitli projelerde yer aldı. Bugüne kadar on kişisel sergi açtı. Sanat Kurumu tarafından 2016 yılı için heykel dalında yılın sanatçısı seçildi. Şu anda heykel, resim ve canlandırma çalışmalarının yanı sıra Ankara Devlet Opera ve Balesi’nde sahne ressamı olarak görev yapmakta ve Başkent üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Tasarım ve Mimarlık Fakültesi , Çizgi film Animasyon bölümünde stop motion animasyon derslerine girmektedir.

 

 

Aykut Öz 1970 / He lives and works in Ankara.

He graduated from the Department of Sculpture of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Hacettepe University in 1995 and then in 2010 he got master’s degree in the same department. He has taken a part in various stage designs, stop motion animations, projects on painting and sculpture. He has opened ten individual exhibitions up to now. Also he has been selected as the artist of the year in the sculpture category for 2016 by The Art Establishment. Besides working on sculpture, painting and animation, he works as a set painter in the State Opera and Ballet in Ankara. He also teaches stop motion animation at Başkent University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Department of Cartoon Animation.
